This is my first post for the Adventures in Truth blog.  I really hope that this blog will be a source of truth for those who still believe in the LDS church and its prophets.  I hope that through this site and through other sources, we can show beyond a shadow of a doubt that the LDS church is a fictitious creation of Joseph Smith and others of his era.  Through this adventure, I hope to expose the prophets for who they really were and show that current teachings do NOT mirror the events as they happened.

Through this I will show that the historical facts have been modified and softened over the years that have transformed them into fiction with some historic basics.  Parts of the stories have been removed to protect the guilty and inflate the views of those people.

This is in no way a Mormon-bashing site.  Even though I say that, I know that there are a lot who will not read the information or verify the research before finding me guilty of heresy against the LDS church.  It is my hope that all who read the information presented in this blog, as well as its associated sites, will take the time to verify what we say with the documentation of the church.  Debates are good.   Name calling or posts not in line with the topic of this blog will be deleted.  Opposing views, thought out and supported, will not be deleted.  If you want to discuss something other than the LDS church, Christ, or scriptures, that will be deleted.

It is my hopes that this will challenge all who read it.  If, from the information in this site, you question your faith, I hope that you will look further into those areas that cause you concern.  If it strengthens your testimony in the LDS church, so be it.  If it causes you to question further, there are places you can go for help in understanding.

I am looking forward to a positive, uplifting experience.  I hope that you find it as such also.
